Are you fed up with the lack of playing time Murphy has been getting?
Then sing along…. (to the tune of No Woman, No Cry)
No, Murphy, no cry; (x4)
Said – said – said: I remember when you used to play
A terrible game out in left field;
Oba-obaserving the hypocrites
As they would mingle with the good hitters we meet.
Prospects we had, oh, prospects we’ve lost
Along the way.
At the trade deadline, you cant forget your bat;
So pack your bags, I say.
No, Murphy, no cry; (x2)
Eh little Murphy, don’t strike out right here,
No, Murphy, no cry.
Said, said, said: I remember when you used to hit
Would even go yard, go downtown;
And then your offense would make the fire lights,
Even when your E’s were burnin’ through the nights.
Then you would move to first base with courage,
Of which I’ll credit you,
Your glove is your only carriage,
So you’ve got to push on through.
But while your bat’s gone, I mean:
Everythings gonna be all right! (x4)
I said, everythings gonna be all right now!
Everythings gonna be all right! (x3)
So, Murphy, no cry;
No – no, Murphy – woman, no cry.
Murphy, little brother, don’t shed no tears;
No, Murphy, no cry.
Said, said, said: I remember when you used to hit
Would even go yard, go downtown;
And then your offense would make the fire lights,
Even when your E’s were burnin’ through the nights.
Then you would move to first base with courage,
Of which I’ll credit you,
Your glove is your only carriage,
So you’ve got to push on through.
But while your bat’s gone, I mean:
So, Murphy, no cry;
No – no, Murphy – woman, no cry.
Murphy, little brother, don’t shed no tears;
No, Murphy, no cry.
In honor of National Sack Grab Day, which falls on the second Thursday
in June in the US and Canada, we would like to honor one of the
best sack grabs involving two men named Murphy and Molina.

Our friends over at The Wright Stache recently had the opportunity to share their great ideas on National Television.
Enjoy this hilarious video of them on Mets Weekly…
