Quick factual nitpick -- Endy Chavez didn't cross the infield, ball in glove. He threw the ball in to complete the double play, and jogged in with an empty glove. I agree with his Daniel Murphy's comments, but "I expect him to be a Dave Magadan, John Olerud type" wasn't quite enough. I think we all agree that's his type. The question is, is he going to slug .377 like Magadan or .465 like Olerud? Be mediocre defensively like Magadan or a 3 time Gold Glover like Olerud? Because one's a keeper and one isn't.
