Update: Nope
Original Post:
With half the team down for the count, the Mets turn to young Bobby Parnell to start tonight’s game in San Diego. This will be Parnell’s first career start.
Will Parnell give us what we need for the final stretch of the season, or can we finally admit to ourselves that our year aint 2009?

Bobby Parnell: Our new Messiah?

I understand this has nothing to do with the great Robert Parnell, but I wanted to take this opportunity to post an article I found in the times:
Congratulations Mr. schneider
After 9 seasons of baseball, yesterday Brian Schneider was finally recognized for his hard work and accomplishments on the diamond. After yesterdays brilliant performance, Schneider received the call he had been waiting for his whole life.
“It’s a big deal for me. When you play in a small market like Montreal for most of your career you don’t get a lot of media coverage. Thankfully playing in New York has allowed people to see Brian Schneider for who he really is.” Said a glowing Schneider.
After 9 seasons and after posting an average under .200 through over 100 at-bats, Schneider has finally been recognized by the Dick Sucking Hall Of Fame.
“I’m going to get the family together, and I’m taking them to San Fransisco to see their Daddy’s speech.”.
Following his inauguration Schneider will join fellow Met greats Shawn Green, and Mel Rojas in the Dick Sucking Hall of Fame.
