Any mention of George Theodore would not be complete without mentioning the 1993 Old Timers Game when Stork ran in for a fly ball, pulled a hammy and had to be carried off the field. Some things never change. Oh, and let the record show that there the Mets, while they did have tributes to the 1969 and 1986 teams, have not had an Old Timers Game since.
