A young major leaguer separated from his team for the first time stars in this remake of CAST AWAY.
Young Daniel Murphy, former third baseman, left fielder, pinch hitter, first baseman of the New York Mets portrays himself as a man marooned in Port St. Lucie Florida, struggling to stay alive while his former friends move on with their lives without him.
Young Daniel, comforted only by the presence of a baseball that he draws a face on and calls “Rawlings”, struggles with the idea of never seeing his life as it was before. Only his love of baseball keeps him going.
Will he survive? Will he make it back? Or will he remain:
